Prior to each release, the Pepecoin Core binaries are deterministically built by multiple developers from the community. The binaries are then "fingerprinted" using a hashing function. The fingerprints from each developer are then compared to make sure they match. If a developer makes a change to the code, even a single character, their fingerprint will not match those of the other developers. Only after all developers' fingerprints match, are the binaries for Pepecoin Core released.
This process ensures no tampering has taken place and that users are safe to download and install the next release.
